At Charming Pony Parties, we have the privilege of caring for some truly remarkable animals, each with their own unique story. Among our beloved residents are Rosetta and Willikers, a pair of rescue ducks whose bond and resilience have touched the hearts of everyone who meets them. Their story is one of love, protection, and overcoming challenges, reminding us of the incredible connections that can form in the animal world.

Rosetta: A Special Duck with a Big Heart

Rosetta is a Muscovy duck, a breed known for its calm demeanor and distinctive appearance. But what makes Rosetta truly special is her courage in the face of adversity. Rosetta is blind, navigating her world without sight, relying on her other senses and her unwavering spirit to guide her. As if blindness wasn’t enough of a challenge, Rosetta also has a condition that affects a gland in her head, preventing her from getting wet. For most ducks, water is a source of joy, but for Rosetta, it’s something she must avoid to stay healthy.

This means that while other ducks may splash and play in ponds, Rosetta has to be carefully protected from the very element that usually defines a duck’s life. But despite these challenges, Rosetta is a happy, contented duck who has found her place in the world, thanks in large part to her incredible companion, Willikers.

Willikers: The Devoted Protector 

Willikers is an Ancona duck, a breed known for its striking black-and-white plumage and friendly demeanor. But what makes Willikers truly special is his role as Rosetta’s protector and guide. In a world that can be challenging for Rosetta, Willikers is her constant companion, always by her side to ensure she is safe and sound. He leads her to food, keeps her company, and watches over her with a devotion that is nothing short of extraordinary.

In the animal kingdom, we often see bonds of loyalty and love, but the relationship between Rosetta and Willikers is truly something special. Willikers seems to understand that Rosetta needs a little extra care, and he provides it without hesitation. Whether he’s guiding her around obstacles or simply staying close by, his actions demonstrate a deep bond that transcends the typical interactions we might expect from ducks.

Their enclosure is specially designed to keep Rosetta dry and comfortable, while still allowing them to enjoy the outdoors together. We’ve also ensured that Rosetta has access to all the things she needs to thrive, from nutritious food to a safe space to rest.

Visitors to our farm often fall in love with Rosetta and Willikers, captivated by their unique story and the obvious affection they share. They remind us that love and loyalty aren’t just human traits; they are universal, crossing species boundaries in the most beautiful ways.

Paint from Home:
Prefer to create from the comfort of your own home? No problem! We’re offering a Paint from Home option so you can join in on the fun wherever you are. We’ll send you a complete paint kit with everything you need, including easy-to-follow instructions. Simply tune in, follow along with our live or recorded session, and create your masterpiece at your own pace. It’s a wonderful way to enjoy a creative night in, either solo or with friends and family.

The Cat & Moon theme is perfect for October, blending the mystery of Halloween with the beauty of a moonlit night. Calling all young horse enthusiasts! Our Fall Pony Camp is the ultimate adventure for kids who love ponies and want to learn more about them. Campers will enjoy daily rides, grooming sessions, and fun pony-themed crafts. Running from October 7th to 10th, each day from 9 AM to 1 PM, this camp offers a hands-on experience that will create lasting memories. The cost is $285 per camper, and spaces are limited, so be sure to reserve your spot early.

Cat & Moon Fall Paint Night - October 11th, 5-7 PM

Join us for another enchanting evening of creativity with our Cat & Moon Fall Paint Night. This event is perfect for those who love the mystery of autumn nights, complete with a beautiful cat and moon design to guide your artistic journey. From $35 per person, you’ll enjoy a relaxing evening of painting and socializing in a fun, supportive environment. All skill levels are welcome!

Fall Festival - October 26th & 27th

Our annual Fall Festival is back and better than ever! Join us on October 26th and 27th for a weekend filled with autumnal delights. From pony rides to pumpkin decorating, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Admission is just $15 per child and $5 per adult, with children under 2 years old admitted for free. Come celebrate the season with us and make memories that will last a lifetime!

Children's Business Fair - December 1st, 1-4 PM

Support young entrepreneurs at our Children’s Business Fair on December 1st. This unique event gives kids the opportunity to bring their businesses to life, offering everything from handmade crafts to tasty treats.
